Welcome to Pixie’s Chinchies and More! Our story started with a very simple realization: our small furry family member deserves the absolute best, but finding truly safe, high quality products for her wasn’t easy.
When we first welcomed Pixie into our lives we quickly noticed a major problem in the pet industry. So many toys marketed for chinchillas contained unsafe woods, toxic glues, or dangerous plastics. We didn’t want to risk Pixie’s health, so we started crafting our own toys using only 100% safe, natural materials.
What started as a labor of love for one special chinchilla quickly grew. We realized that all small animals - from bunnies and guinea pigs to hamsters and rats - deserve the same gold standard of safety. That’s where the “and more” comes in!
Today, everything we make and curate is driven by the exact same mission: to provide pet parents with total peace of mind and to keep your little ones hopping, popping, and chewing happily.

Every material is carefully considered when being included in our handmade products. All of our woods and grasses are 100% natural, non-toxic, and chosen with your pet’s health as our absolute top priority.
Kiln-Dried Pine
Raw pine contains harmful aromatic oils. Kiln dried pine goes through a process that completely removes these harmful phenols. This leaves behind a perfectly safe, sturdy wood that is excellent for heavy chewers.
Apple Wood
One of the safest and most popular chews for small animals. Its sweet, natural taste makes it an absolute favorite for keeping growing teeth healthy and worn down.
Birch Wood
A fantastic, non-toxic hardwood that is highly resilient and safe for chinchillas and other small pets to chew on.
Sea Grass
Natural, untreated sea grass is completely safe to ingest. It provides a wonderful safe texture that encourages natural foraging instincts and healthy play. We chose sea grass over chains because it naturally helps with dental health.
